Blackford High School starts the school day at 8:03 a.m. and dismisses at 3:08 p.m. every day.

The school office hours are 7:30 a.m.- 4:00 p.m.

BHS Announcements

 Bruin Club will held on Mondays and Wednesdays in the library from 3:08-4:30pm.

 Juniors and Seniors interested in meeting with college representatives should sign up in Guidance.

 October 27-31st is Red Ribbon Week!!  There will be activities throughout this week!! 

 The PSAT will be offered on Wednesday, October 29th, in the morning.

 Science Club will have a meeting after school on Wednesday, October 29th, in Mr. French's room.  Members will be extracting pumpkin DNA during the meeting.

 Student Council will have a meeting, before school, on Thursday, October 30th, in room 114. 

 Student Council will be selling cotton candy during the Harlem Wizards game on Monday, November 3rd.  The money raised will go towards families needing assistance during the holidays.
 The deadline for SAT registration is Thursday, November 6th.  See the Guidance Office for more information.
 Jostens will be here during lunch mods on Friday, November 7th for students to pick up their class rings.  Seniors:  This will be the last chance to order your graduation cap, gown, and announcements!!
 The deadline for ACT registration is Friday, November 7th.  See the Guidance Office for more information.

 The SAT test will be given at Delta High School on Saturday, November 8th.  See the Guidance Office for more information.

 Sadie Hawkins Dance will be held on Saturday, November 8th, from 7-9pm.  Dance request forms are in the front office if you are planning to bring an outside guest.

The National Honor Society Induction Ceremony will be held Thursday, November 13th, at 7pm, in the BHS cafeteria.

 FCA T-shirt order forms are in Mrs. Fear's room (246).

Students interested in working the election poll on November 4th should sign up in Guidance.  Workers must be 16 years old and have a 3.0 or higher GPA.

Students interested in meeting with a college representative should sign up in the Guidance Office.

Families needing assistance for Christmas can pick up a form from the BHS Guidance Office.

The form is due back Monday, November 3rd.
