Empty classroom without Children

4.3.2020

BCS Families,

Yesterday the Governor and the IDOE announced that the students could not return for face to face instruction for the remainder of the school year.  While we are heartbroken not to be able to finish the year with students at school, we do believe this is the correct decision and in the best interest of public safety.

We know there are a lot of questions, and we are working to answer them.  Seniors and Families of Seniors, we are saddened that many of the normal senior year activities will now have to take shape in a new or different way.  We are resolved to celebrate your accomplishments and will be reaching out next week to develop plans. Please be patient as we work with you to do our best to accomplish this together.

It is a requirement now that schools complete 20 days of virtual instruction after April 2nd to complete the year.  Below is our schedule for the remainder of the year.  Mondays will still be our food pick up and delivery, packet pick up and drop off.

We know there are a lot of questions and we continue to work through the guidance from the State to better inform you.  More information will be shared next week.

Be Safe Bruins,

Chad Yencer Superintendent
