We’re proud of our Bears, and we love to brag a little about their accomplishments. Check in often to see what our Bears are up to and for important announcements and information.

The Blackford Intermediate School talent show will take place on Tuesday, May 26 at 6:30 p.m. in the school gym. This is open to all BIS students. Auditions are on Tuesday, May 12 after school. Applications are due by Monday, May 4. We will not accept late forms. Please contact Mrs. York via email for more information.

Camp Invention is for children entering kindergarten through 6th grades and will take place on June 15 through June 19 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Montpelier Elementary School. The cost is $235 before the discount. Please call (800) 968-4332 to register.

Spring picture day is coming soon! Picture day will be on Tuesday, March 10. We can't wait to see your smiling faces!

Please mark your calendars for the upcoming changes. Because of missed school days, school will be in session on April 10, May 26, 27, and 28. We appreciate your attention to these changes.

Mark your calendars for March 12. Please join us for Family Literacy Night. It will be a great opportunity to get together as a family and work on literacy skills. We hope to see everyone there!

We will be hosting a school book fair the week of March 9 through March 13. Come visit, and purchase books. Our book fairs help support our school library with new books. There are books for all ages and reading levels, so come look at the great selections.

Our next All Pro Dads breakfast is on Friday, March 13 at 7:15 a.m. in the library. Please join us for fun, fellowship, and free breakfast! All Pro Dads is an organization open to all fathers (or father figures) of Northside students who have an interest in spending some quality time with their son or daughter. We look forward to seeing you there!

Spring break is on Friday, March 20 through Friday, March 27. School resumes on Monday, March 30. Have a safe and relaxing break!
