BJSHS seniors show off their awards at HOSA Conference

We are Bruin PROUD of our BJSHS Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA.) According to Yvette Rouch, 12 students returned from attending the HOSA State Leadership Conference in Indianapolis, which included over 1300 students in attendance!

"We had 3 Top Ten finalists! The team of Riata Rouch and Ava Milholland were Top Ten in Forensic Science and Jenna Mahorney was Top Ten in Medical Assisting.

"Our students went to symposiums to learn about topics such as the use and training of cadaver dogs, learning how to compare career options, the science of genetic testing and skills in behavioral health. In addition, they attended an emergency health symposium," Mrs. Rouch added.

We sure are proud of their accomplishments! Way to go, Bruins!
