We are excited to share that Blackford County Schools has made the decision to waive all textbook fees and technology fees for the entire academic year for new and returning students! This decision is made possible by changes made by the Indiana Legislature, which now is supplying additional funding to schools to help defray these costs.
Fees will NOT be charged for:
Textbooks
Materials used in class
Computer rental
Course Software
Fees will still be assessed for the following:
Dual Credit fees paid directly to the college or university
Lost or damaged textbooks or computers
Property that the student will own at the conclusion of the class (i.e. a band instrument rented from the music store)
Latchkey services
Preschool Costs
