During Tuesday evening's school board meeting, BJSHS senior Allison Zuber was honored for being named the 2022 Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship recipient.
The Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship covers tuition, required fees, and provides a special allocation of up to $900 per year for required books and equipment for four years of full-time undergraduate study leading to a bachelor's degree at any accredited Indiana public or private nonprofit college or university.
As the recipient of the scholarship, Allison's plans include attending Indiana University in the fall to student Elementary Education.

Check out the mountain of stuffed animals that were donated by our BJSHS HOSA students!
The students presented the stuffies, collected during the annual HOSA Teddy Bear Toss, to Austin May, a representative of IU Health Blackford. They will be given to children who are sick or have suffered a loss.
Talk about doing good work... In total, HOSA/Health Career's students have given to the community through their Teddy Bear Toss, Blood Drives, and Bear Necessity Closet at the BJSHS!

Don't Be an "April Fool'' and join us for the Junior High Spring Block Party on April 1st. There will be dancing, a photo booth, games, snacks and prizes. Admission is $5. This is April 1st from 3:30 to 5:30. School Dance Rules Apply.

(1/2) The Eastern Indiana Works Job Fair will be held on Tuesday, March 29th, in grades 8-12. EIW wants our students to meet with potential employers in our area.

Oak Hill Athletics has shared that the JH swim meet on Saturday will now be an 8:30am start. Tickets are $4 at the door.
The Blackford County Arts Center hosts the 2022 Student Art Show from February 28th-April 7th. On Sunday, March 13th, there will be a reception from 2-4 pm. The artwork displayed is from students at BJSHS and Bluffton High School.
