It was a busy start to professional development at the BIS today. Mr. Chris Painter taught staff how to use some new online tools in their classrooms.
Mrs. Kylee Redford conducted a workshop on the teacher effectiveness rubric. The teachers discussed how to improve instruction in the classroom to help support student learning and outcomes.

Via Credit Union's Student Branch is open every Thursday morning before school. During February, students who make a deposit can spin the prize wheel for Valentine's Day candy! This is in addition to the monthly drawing for $10!
If you would like for your child to start saving at the BIS Student Branch, please complete a permission slip and return it along with their initial deposit. Permission slips will be sent home but are also available in the school office.
