
Blackford County Schools is offering its former greenhouse for sale under a closed bid process. The successful bidder will be responsible for disassembling and removing the greenhouse. Measurements of the greenhouse are 11 ft. in the center from ceiling to ground, 25.5 ft. wide and 48 ft. long. The greenhouse is made of polycarbonate and metal and is being sold AS IS.
The greenhouse is currently located near the bus barn on the BJSHS campus, 2392 N - SR 3, Hartford City. Those wishing to inspect the greenhouse are asked to stop into the Bus Barn Office prior to doing so. Hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Beginning Tuesday, September 26, 2023, those interested in purchasing the greenhouse are asked to submit a sealed bid to the Blackford County Schools Administration Office, 0668 W 200 S, Hartford City, IN by 4:30 p.m., October 5, 2023. The winning bidder will be notified on October 6, 2023. Payment must be made by cash or money order.
The Greenhouse must be removed by October 31, 2023. For more information contact: 765.348.7550.
