Our Kindergarteners have been busy in Mrs. Abby Fullenkamp's class at BPS! They've been making gingerbread houses, Grinch crafts, and new Christmas socks for everyone. Merry Christmas to all! #HolidayFun #BetterAtBlackford

Our second grade classes at BPS had Grinch Day on December 19. We watch the original Dr. Seuss cartoon, read the book How the Grinch Stole Christmas, played Grinch Bingo, did a science experiment that showed the Grinch’s heart growing, did a Grinch Scoot while solving math problems, and made Grinch masks.

Happy holidays from Blackford County Schools!

Here is a picture of my class (Mrs. Amanda Johnson, 3rd grade) after we found out we won BIS's door decorating contest!
The kids voted on the theme, designed their own cake pops and coffees, and showed their money math skills by using a Starbucks menu and created an order ticket. They so enjoyed sharing their creative side with this fun holiday character!
Merry Christmas!
