*It is a state requirement that each senior completes FAFSA and their parents have to also create a FSA ID to help in the filing process. They must complete this whether they are attending college or not.

Did you know that sonography is often the first imaging test performed when disease is suspected? Students in Yvette Rouch's Health Careers class at BJSHS practice their sonography skills for the ankle brachial index. (The ankle-brachial index (ABI) is a non-invasive test that measures the ratio of blood pressure in the ankle to the blood pressure in the arm. It is used to assess the health of the arteries in the lower limbs. )

It's our third graders' favorite days of the school year- Taste of Thai Day!
It's a family affair. Mark and Pradit Dawson have made it a long-standing tradition to visit (their sister) Mrs. Carma Reidy and her class to share Pradit's Thai culture, school experiences, and cuisine. Thanks to the generosity of Mrs. Reidy's kind volunteers, all the BIS 3rd graders get to take part in this amazing learning experience!
