It is the middle of October. We are getting very close to Halloween. This is not a Trick. We have the Treats. Come on out to Blackford Primary School for the October food pantry. Doors will open at 6;00 pm. So don't get spooked and not make it to the pantry.
This week's great weather has allowed for over 30 BJSHS students to enjoy a beautiful PEAK period during Walking Club, part of a partnership between Principles of Health Careers students and the Ball State Healthy Lifestyle Center.

The 4th graders at BIS are working on an argumentative brochure to persuade their audience about which park they think is the best in Blackford County. We did field research this week to observe Sigma Phi Gamma Founder's Park. The students did a quick illustration, a general description, and at least 3 special features of the park.

Preschool students had a very special guest today! Officer Joel Allred from the Hartford City Police Department stopped by to read books to the classes. Officer Allred was welcomed by Preschool teachers: Ms. Bre Heine, Ms. Kiley Eppard, Mrs. Autumn Moore and Mrs. Jodi Bacon.
