What's better than a good book? Finding a cozy place to read it! Students in Mrs. Kari Crouse's class at Blackford Intermediate took advantage of some quiet time during the Read Across America celebration. They even had Mrs. Bauer and Mr. Rheinhart as special guest readers!

It's a parade of characters (wacky and otherwise) at Montpelier School this week as students celebrate Read Across America! Students and teachers dressed up as their favorite book characters and then got Wacky for Wednesday!

Check out the outstanding efforts of Mrs. Abby Fullenkamp's class at Northside!
"We haven’t been able to go outside for recess since Christmas break. So, we found an inside recess project to complement our Black History Month unit. The kids worked so hard on this... They were so concerned about staying in the lines so the pictures would fit together perfectly. I’m so proud of them, and we learned a lot! - Mrs. Fullenkamp

Cubs spread the ❤️
Northside has been working hard to show support and kindness to two groups: military members across the globe and children in foster care across the country. Students made 599 pieces of art and letters to spread this love across the world.

Warmer temps this week have allowed the Kodiaks in Mrs. Kylee Redford's class at Montpelier Elementary a chance to go outside for recess. According to Mrs. Redford, it's sidewalk chalk for the win!
(Hurry up, spring! We like outdoor recess!)
