BPS had the privilege of welcoming local musician Kathryn Fenstermacher last week! She came on three different days to meet with all of our 1st and 2nd Graders. Mrs. Kathryn introduced the students to the harp by playing a selection of mesmerizing songs to them and even inviting each one to take a turn! She spoke about the importance of music in our lives. As a representative of Arts Place, she also made the students aware of this amazing opportunity in our community for art classes and music lessons! Registration for the fall semester ends TODAY! Thank you, Kathryn, for sharing your time and talents with us!

Meet the 2nd grade team at Blackford Primary School! They bring experience, kindness, and fun to their students and classrooms. We are #BruinProud!
Blackford Primary School is looking for students! As of Monday, July 28, we are anticipating 9 Kindergarten students who attended screenings in the spring to registers for school. We are still waiting for 19 first graders and 26 second graders who were at BPS last year to complete registration.
Blackford Primary School will continue to hold walk in registration this evening until 7:00 pm. If you need assistance with Skyward, feel free to join us. We are still expecting approximately 100 more students to be registered out of the expected 345 Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd graders. Please complete your child's registration so we can balance classes.
The Back to School Carnival is less than a week away!

As you can tell by the photos, they were a little nervous to present at last night's school board meeting, but they did so well! Several of the BPS Preschool Academy's students and staff were on hand to thank donors for their kindness throughout the school year.
Preschool Director Shalee Myron updated the board on the program's accomplishments during the year.
Later, the board voted to expand the program for the 2025-2026 school year. Mrs. Myron says there are only a few spaces available, but you can add your child's name to the list by calling 765.348.7584.

Look how proud they are of their books! Students in Mrs. Bre Heine's preschool class proudly display the books they bought at the BPS Book Fair. Mrs. Heine personally raised funds to make sure all of her students were able to purchase a book at the fair.
