BPS had been involved in a coin war this past week! Mrs. Julia Hiatt's first grade class won the coin battle for Book Fair. Coin wars was a way to raise money for our local Hartford City Police Shop with a Cop fundraiser! Each student got to spend 10 dollars at the book fair for a new book! The class also got to enjoy some one on one time reading with the Hartford City Police Officers! What a great day! We appreciate the hard work and kindness of our BPS students and the HCPD! #BruinProud #HCPD

How cool is this? BPS staffers Shalee Myron and Liz Holdcroft worked together to create two communication boards for the playground. Both boards include an English side and a Spanish side. The inclusive boards allow for all students to effectively communicate their wants/needs on the playground! #BetterAtBlackford
